Valley Proteins/Carolina By-Products recycles inedible by-products from the food industry that would otherwise lead to environmental contamination. As a renderer, we provide this invaluable disposal service to restaurants, supermarkets, slaughterhouses, poultry processing facilities and farmers in 13 Eastern Seaboard states from New York to Georgia along with Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, Oklahoma and Kansas. Our 12 plants in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas convert fat and bone trimmings, waste cooking oils, and meat/poultry by-products into high energy fat and protein rich meal products. Feed producers fortify their poultry, pork, beef and dairy, aquaculture and pet feeds with our nutritious ingredients. We also cure hides and skins for domestic and foreign tanneries.

We are committed to operating as a good corporate neighbor. Our modern conversion facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art wastewater treatment processes and odor abatement equipment. Odor emissions are controlled by a combination of waste steam condensation, vapor incineration and air scrubbing. Because of this, our facilities exceed or equal air and water pollution control regulations.
