Steady flow of fats
Yellow grease and poultry fats are exported through a terminal in Norfolk, VA. This location provides storage space for 5,000MT with a pumping rate close to 200MT per hour. This steady flow of shipping vessels on the East Coast of the United States has allowed us attractive freight rates into the Caribbean, Central America, and South America. It is our desire to continue to expand these markets while operating others.

Valley Proteins/Carolina By-Products is one of the largest exporters of poultry based animal proteins from the United States. We can supply all areas of the world with 58% protein poultry by-products meal, 65% protein poultry by-products meal, 80% protein feather meal and animal protein blends. Our proximity to the United States East Coast export terminals allows us to be competitively priced to most world markets. Ongoing research is proving poultry based animal proteins to be one of the most economical and effective feed ingredients available.
